November is the month Dubai families have been waiting for. The summer heat finally eases, the outdoor attractions are open again and weekends can be spent outside rather than in the shopping mall. And it all starts with Halloween at the end of October.
Here is our guide to Halloween and November with little ones in Dubai, with ideas for every age.
For our family, this time of year is all about simple moments outdoors. We love having barbecues in our garden and inviting friends and family over with all the kids, then spending the afternoons at the community pool and playgrounds. Nothing fancy, but those are the days we remember most.
Halloween with kids in Dubai
LEGOLAND Dubai: Halloween at LEGOLAND
One of the most child-friendly Halloween events in town. Until 2 November 2026, LEGOLAND Dubai at Dubai Parks and Resorts runs a Brick-or-Treat Candy Trail, a MINILAND Ghost Hunt, a build-your-own pumpkin patch, Halloween shows and costumed characters. The Halloween activities are included in a regular day ticket, which makes it an easy family day out.
Kids' Halloween parties
Indoor play centres around the city host Halloween parties with face painting, spooky games and costume prizes. Gogo Village on Umm Suqeim Street, for example, has a kids' Halloween party for children aged 4 to 10 on selected October weekends. Spaces are limited, so book early.
A note on scary events
Some Halloween events in Dubai, such as the horror mazes at MOTIONGATE's Fright Nights, are designed for horror fans and are not suitable for little ones. Always check the age guidance before you book.
Halloween at home or in your community
Many villa and apartment communities organise their own trick-or-treating. Check your community group or building management for details, and agree on a time and route with the neighbours. A simple homemade costume in soft, breathable cotton is often more comfortable for little ones than a synthetic shop-bought one, especially if the evening is still warm.
The best November days out with kids
Global Village
Global Village opened its 31st season on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027. Children love the pavilions, rides, street food and live shows, and there is an indoor adventure park for little ones called The Little Wonderers. Entry is free for children under three. It opens in the late afternoon, so go just before sunset and enjoy the lights.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Season 15 opened on 8 October 2026 with more than 200 million flowers and, for the first time, a different themed celebration every week. Tickets for children start from Dh84 and under-threes go free. Morning visits are calmer and easier with a pram.
Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park reopens for its new season on 12 October 2026. It is a lovely way to spend a cooler morning with toddlers and school-age children who love animals.
Dubai Fitness Challenge
From 31 October to 29 November 2026, the Dubai Fitness Challenge invites everyone to do 30 minutes of activity a day for 30 days. With free fitness villages and events across the city, it is a great excuse for family walks, scooter rides along the beach or a run in the park with the pram.
What to dress your little ones in for November
November days in Dubai are still warm, but evenings and mornings can feel fresh, especially outdoors and in the desert. Layers work best:
- A breathable cotton or muslin base layer for the daytime
- A light terry or waffle cotton set, or a soft jacket, for evenings
- Socks and a light blanket in the pram for babies
- A sun hat: the sun is still strong in the middle of the day
Browse our kids' wear and baby wear for soft cotton layers that are easy to take on and off.
Our favourite parks this season
When we want a change from our own playground, these are the two parks we keep going back to:
- The central park in Jebel Ali Village: a big new green space in the heart of the redeveloped community, with landscaped lawns, children's play areas, walking and cycling paths and a community pond. There is so much room for little ones to run, ride and explore.
- Dubai Hills Park: right in the centre of Dubai Hills Estate, next to Dubai Hills Mall. Little ones love the splash pad and play areas, older kids head to the skate park, and there are picnic lawns plus jogging and cycling tracks. The Hills Eatery in the park is handy for a coffee or lunch.
Event dates and prices can change. Please check the official websites before you go.
